Assistant Conductor in Šarlatán ( Charlatan ) by Pavel Haas

September 2024

Lada is honoured to be involved as an Assistant Conductor in a historically significant production of opera Šarlatán ( Charlatan ) by Pavel Haas at the National Moravian Silesian Theatre in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

The production is a part of Terezín Opera Cycle dramaturgic series and represents the second major contribution of the NMST to the Year of Czech Music 2024.

Its aim is to bring to the stage works by composers who were an important part of Czech cultural history, but whose human and artistic voices were violently silenced by the Nazi regime.

Lada is an impassioned advocate of Pavel Haas’s music with her previous projects including an Award Winning Album Fata Morgana Song by Pavel Haas. She is delighted to make a contribution and join the outstanding team  at the National Moravian Silesian Theatre at for this unique and worthy endeavour.
