Czech-British conductor Lada Valešová brings the vast wealth of her professional experience as a music director, pianist, and a vocal and language coach to her conducting, uniting the various strands of her expertise and drawing on each facet of her musicianship.

Lada is a 2023 Winner of West End Award in Opera Ensemble for Janáček’s Cunning Little Vixen for the Hampstead Garden Opera, and is one of seven conductors on the prestigious Royal Philharmonic Society Excel Programme “Woman Conductors Gateshead 2024-25” in cooperation with Glasshouse International Centre for Music and the Royal Northern Sinfonia.

Lada’s recent credits include a new production of Eugene Onegin with Opera Holland Park, the UK premiere of Svadba by Canadian/Serbian composer Ana Sokolović for the Waterperry Opera Festival, Eugene Onegin for Opera West Green House, and an opera double bill at the Royal Scottish Conservatoire of the UK premiere and orchestral version of Four Sisters, and an opera by British composer Elena Langer.
